Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Virtualization, Systems, or Infrastructure Engineer in enterprise environments.

• Strong hands-on experience administering and supporting both VMware and Nutanix environments.

• Experience leading or supporting VMware-to-Nutanix migration projects.

• Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting using tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, Python, or similar technologies.

• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.

• Solid understanding of networking and storage infrastructure supporting virtualized environments.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience troubleshooting and remediating issues during large-scale infrastructure migrations or transformations.

• Nutanix certifications or advanced Nutanix administration experience.

• Experience working within hybrid cloud or modern data center environments.

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. This engineer will work alongside an 8-person infrastructure team to support a critical VMware-to-Nutanix migration initiative. The ideal candidate will assess the current migration effort, identify and resolve technical challenges, automate infrastructure processes, and help drive the migration to a successful completion while supporting Windows, Linux, networking, and storage environments.
