  • Identify opportunities to improve production workflows through automation, process optimization, and AI-powered technologies
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and production system issues while supporting day-to-day studio operations
  • Develop documentation, implement best practices, and help build a scalable, reliable technology environment

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience managing IT infrastructure, preferably within a VFX, animation, post-production, media, or other creative production environment
  • Strong knowledge of networking, enterprise storage, and Windows, Linux, and macOS administration
  • Experience supporting production pipelines and creative technology workflows
  • Hands-on experience with technologies such as Deadline, Baselight, Nuke, Flame, Redshift, NAS administration, LTO archival, or MDM platforms
  • Proven ability to improve workflows through automation, systems optimization, and emerging technologies, including AI
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

Nice to have:

  • Experience supporting high-performance creative, media, animation, or post-production environments
  • Exposure to AI-driven workflow automation and production tools
  • Experience documenting infrastructure and establishing IT best practices
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with availability to be on-site in downtown Toronto within 30–45 minutes during working hours
