We’re seeking an experienced Linux Systems Administrator to manage and optimize Linux infrastructure across on-prem and AWS environments. This role focuses on automation, security, system upgrades, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy and maintain Linux servers (physical, virtual, AWS)
  • Automate provisioning using Ansible
  • Manage patching, upgrades (RHEL), and system performance
  • Design and support AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS)
  • Identify and remediate vulnerabilities
  • Use ServiceNow/JIRA for incident and change management
  • Monitor systems and resolve complex issues
  • Maintain documentation and support on-call rotation

Minimum qualifications

  • 5+ years Linux admin experience (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
  • Experience with AWS and Ansible
  • Strong troubleshooting and scripting skills (Bash/Python)
  • Knowledge of vulnerability management and networking
  • Experience with ServiceNow and virtualization tools

Preferred qualifications

  • AWS or Linux certifications
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and monitoring tools
  • Red Hat Satellite experience
