Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation and tooling for deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
- Administer, configure, and optimize servers, containers, and cloud resources to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and infrastructure as code practices.
- Develop monitoring dashboards, alerting, and logging strategies to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate applications with backend infrastructure and services.
- Participate in on-call rotations, incident management, and post-incident reviews to drive continuous improvement.
Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) and experience with automation tools.
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and network fundamentals.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stacks).
Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).
