Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer - System Administration to join our IT operations team. This role combines software development with system administration to design, implement, and optimize scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure that supports business applications and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate workflows, monitor systems, and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation and tooling for deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Administer, configure, and optimize servers, containers, and cloud resources to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and infrastructure as code practices.
  • Develop monitoring dashboards, alerting, and logging strategies to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to integrate applications with backend infrastructure and services.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, incident management, and post-incident reviews to drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

4-8 years of experience in system administration

Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) and experience with automation tools.

Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and network fundamentals.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).

Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stacks).

Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).

Education and Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
