The opportunity
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and driven Site Reliability Engineer.
You will be working as part of the Issuing Operations and Monitoring GUI team, focusing on applications with a direct customer interaction, such as carholder portals. The main responsibility of the team is providing services for customers all over the world in the financial processing sector. The goal is to ensure quality and availability of services, according to the customer needs.
Our team not only offers you a wide variety of work and technologies, but also the space to develop yourself technically. According to the DevOPS approach, you will be working closely with colleagues from Business, Development and Test departments, inside the context of the squad. You'll also get the chance to work in an extremely international environment, having colleagues all over Europe and India.
Day-to-day Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve incidents, problems and changes;
- Quickly and accurately determine impact in case of (high level) incidents, estimate resolution times and establish counter measures;
- Take part in on-call shift, to provide 24/7 support;
- Initiate improvement plans and prevention of problems;
- Support test and development teams;
- Produce quality improvement plans, business continuity plans, operating instructions.
- Bachelor or Master degree, preferably Computer Science-related area;
- Minimum 4 years of experience in site reliability engineering or in IT support-related roles;
- Will to take part in on-call shift for 24/7 support;
- Good communication skills, especially in English;
- Knowledge of Linux (basic – scripting + basic commands), SQL. cloud platforms and networking tools (F5/HaProxy) is appreciated;
- Kowledge of monitoring/observability stacks and logging practices;
