We are looking for a Linux Senior Administrator with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) to support enterprise infrastructure, implementation, transition, and operations.


Key Responsibilities


  • Design, implement, administer, and troubleshoot RHEL/Linux infrastructure.
  • Support Linux infrastructure across enterprise and data center environments.
  • Perform patch management, hardening, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
  • Manage LVM, users, permissions, storage, and system troubleshooting.
  • Administer and support Red Hat Satellite Server.
  • Work with Linux clustering solutions including Veritas, PowerHA, Red Hat Cluster, PCS, HPC, and GPFS.
  • Support LPAR installation and maintenance.
  • Manage backup and recovery activities, including mksysb.
  • Support NIM Server installation, configuration, and administration.
  • Work with backup and storage technologies such as Cohesity and NetWorker.
  • Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for patches, firmware, and product lifecycle activities.
  • Support monitoring, ticketing, capacity management, and infrastructure operations.
  • Prepare technical documentation, risk assessments, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in infrastructure transition, knowledge transfer, and service implementation activities.


Qualifications


  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with RHEL/Linux administration.


Required Skills


  • Strong experience in Linux infrastructure design and implementation.
  • Good knowledge of LVM, user management, patching, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Satellite Server.
  • Knowledge of Veritas Cluster, PowerHA, Red Hat Cluster, PCS, HPC, and GPFS.
  • Experience with LPAR, NIM, and mksysb.
  • Knowledge of backup and storage technologies.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes.
  • Experience with monitoring and ticketing tools.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and support global environments.
