Minimum Profile Required
Skill, Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent hands-on experience
- 7+ years of experience as a Systems/IT Administrator in a mixed-OS environment
- Strong hands-on expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration — required
- Working knowledge of Windows Server administration and Active Directory
- Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell) for automation and troubleshooting
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs)
- Experience with Red Hat Satellite, SELinux, and firewalld
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, RHV/KVM, or Hyper-V)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
- Experience with Ansible (strongly preferred) or other configuration management/automation tools
- RHCSA or RHCE certification required/strongly preferred; Microsoft/Windows certification a plus
- Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
