Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Our client is looking to hire a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, someone who is a hands-on engineer supporting critical business systems — from trading platforms to fund accounting. This role blends deep technical work with daily operations, keeping their environment secure, resilient, and high-performing.

What You'll Do

• Secure, patch, and maintain Windows Server environments (dev, test, production)
• Support back-office applications (trading, fund/financial accounting systems)
• Manage our VMware virtualization environment
• Own infrastructure projects end-to-end, following best practices
• Monitor system health/capacity and troubleshoot escalated issues
• Maintain documentation and support capacity planning

What You Bring

• 10+ years in IT infrastructure, ideally in financial/trading environments
• Advanced Citrix experience (Delivery Controller, PVS, StoreFront, NetScaler)
• Deep Azure/AWS experience (VNets/VPCs, storage, containers, managed databases)
• Cisco UCS and PURE storage (or similar) experience
• Strong Windows Server, SQL, Exchange, and Active Directory expertise
• Working knowledge of SCCM, Office 365/Azure AD, and security tools (Defender ATP, Intune, Rapid7)
• Understanding of SAML, Kerberos, RADIUS, MFA, and privileged access management
• PowerShell scripting and CI/CD pipeline experience
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Willingness to work on-call/evenings/weekends in a 24/7 team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to Have: SQL Server administration, Entra ID/Azure security tools, Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
