Systems Engineer

Idea 11 is looking for a Systems Engineer to join our Managed Services team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, taking ownership of customer outcomes, and building their expertise across cloud, infrastructure, networking, and security technologies.

You'll operate as a key technical escalation point, supporting a range of customer environments while working closely with senior engineers to resolve complex issues and deliver high-quality outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Resolving cloud, infrastructure, networking, and platform issues
• Owning tickets through to resolution while maintaining strong customer communication
• Participating in incident investigations and root cause analysis
• Performing scheduled maintenance and proactive system improvements
• Working directly with customers on technical issues and escalations
• Contributing to projects, migrations, and platform improvements
• Maintaining technical documentation and knowledge base articles
• Assisting with technical reviews and operational improvement initiatives

Exposure to technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Citrix, SCCM/MECM, Intune, and PowerShell will be highly regarded.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years in an infrastructure, cloud, or MSP engineering role
• Experience working in an MSP environment
• Strong AWS, infrastructure, and networking fundamentals
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience supporting cloud and on-premises environments
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A proactive mindset focused on ownership and continuous improvement
• While certifications are not mandatory, you'll stand out if you hold (or are actively pursuing) certifications in AWS, Microsoft, VMware, networking, or security technologies
