Location: Beaverton, OR (Onsite 5 days/week)

Duration: 12-month contract - but high odds of extension past May 2027

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Support Engineer to support a large-scale security infrastructure initiative within an enterprise Risk & Security organization. This role will focus on the deployment, support, and troubleshooting of physical security technologies and supporting infrastructure, including servers, endpoints, network-connected devices, and camera systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with hardware and infrastructure, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a solid understanding of Windows server environments. Prior GSOC experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for security infrastructure systems and devices.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware associated with physical security systems.
• Support enterprise camera systems and related infrastructure.
• Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server environments.
• Provide laptop, mobile device, and endpoint support as needed.
• Access and troubleshoot network switches and connectivity issues.
• Perform system maintenance, upgrades, and operational support for security-related technologies.
• Utilize PowerShell scripting for automation, administration, and troubleshooting tasks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to resolve infrastructure issues.
• Support ongoing initiatives focused on strengthening enterprise security operations.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of infrastructure, systems administration, or technical support experience.
• Experience supporting Windows Server operating systems.
• Strong hardware troubleshooting and deployment experience.
• Experience working with network-connected devices and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Familiarity with network switches and basic networking concepts.
• Experience using PowerShell for administrative or automation tasks.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting physical security infrastructure, camera systems, or access control technologies.
• Experience working with third-party security technology providers.
• Background supporting enterprise security, facilities, or risk organizations.
• Experience with server administration and infrastructure operations.

Nice to Know

• This is an infrastructure-focused role supporting security technology initiatives.
• Prior GSOC experience is not required.
• The focus is on hardware, servers, endpoint support, and security-related infrastructure rather than on security monitoring or dispatch operations.
