System Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Lead the deployment and automation of cutting-edge servers and hardware, integrating them into advanced private cloud environments.

• Manage and optimize the private cloud infrastructure that supports all employees across the organization.

• Utilize tools like Helm to build robust automation processes, driving continuous improvement in technical workflows.

• Apply expertise in Ceph and object storage solutions to evolve storage infrastructure and optimize data management.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, implementing effective monitoring and logging systems for stable platform operations.

What You'll Need

• Several years of experience with Linux, OpenStack, and Kubernetes, alongside strong knowledge of virtualization and cloud operations.

• A relevant IT degree or vocational training, such as a System Integration Specialist, Computer Science, or equivalent qualification.

• Proven experience in managing private cloud platforms and proficiency in scripting and programming, particularly Python.

• Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop efficient solutions.

• Excellent German and English language skills.
