Linux Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift and Linux infrastructure environments, ensuring platform reliability, scalability, and security across enterprise systems.
• Manage Linux operating systems, container platforms, and Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters, including configuration, troubleshooting, patching, and performance optimization.
• Automate infrastructure operations through scripting and configuration management tools while improving deployment processes, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams to support application deployments, enforce best practices, and resolve complex production issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing Linux infrastructure, with hands-on experience supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and OpenShift/Kubernetes environments.
• Strong knowledge of container orchestration, OpenShift administration, Linux system troubleshooting, networking, storage, and security hardening practices.
• Experience with automation and DevOps tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Bash/Python scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure monitoring platforms.
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure concepts, including virtualization, cloud platforms, identity management, and production support; Red Hat certifications (RHCSA/RHCE/OpenShift Administrator) are a plus.
