JOB DUTIES: Middleware installation, administration & support of Apache Tomcat, HTTPD, HAProxy, F5 and Spring Boot Java applications. Analyze and plan for optimization as well as suggest necessary changes to database design using Oracle9i, MySQL, Apache Tomcat, WebSphere, JBoss. Interact with planning, engineering and operations teams to understand next generation network, services and business processes. Apply Red Hat Enterprise Linux OS Kernel & application security vulnerability patching to comply with organization security standards. Shell Scripting (Perl, Python) for automation of administration tasks like file system management, process management, Server reboots etc. Creating, modifying and maintaining file system on Red hat Linux and Solaris servers. Creating root disk mirroring using ZFS file system on Solaris servers. Building new Virtual Machines for Red hat 7.5. Work under supervision. Travel And/or Relocation to Unanticipated Client Sites throughout USA is required.

EDUCATION: Master’s degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Business/ Math/Engineering (Any) or closely related field with Six (6) months of experience in the job offered or as an IT Consultant or IT Analyst or Developer or Programmer or IT Engineer or closely related field. Employer also accepts Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Business/ Math/ Engineering (Any) or related field plus five years of progressive work experience in related field.

EXPERIENCE: Experience of Six (6) months with any one of administration of Linux or Solaris systems is required. Travel and/or relocation is required to unanticipated client sites within USA. International travel is not required. The frequency of travel is currently not known as it depends on the client and project requirement that cannot be currently anticipated. Employer provides Information technology services to various clients in USA and hence implementing projects will require such travel.
