Database Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Design, build, and operate PostgreSQL database services on Kubernetes.

• Automate database rollouts and operations using GitOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Collaborate closely with the Managed Kubernetes team for seamless integration.

• Manage updates, security patches, and new product versions for database services.

• Contribute to the expansion of additional database services on cloud platforms.

What You'll Need

• Completed IT education or degree (e.g., System Integration, Computer Science, Cloud Computing).

• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL databases and Kubernetes.

• Experience with PostgreSQL High Availability solutions.

• Passion for Linux and OpenStack.

• Proficiency in both German and English.

• Team player with initiative and a structured approach.
