IT System Administrator – Windows & Linux (System Administrator).

For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS Defence and Space, we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH.

The position holder (d/m/w) works as IT System Administrator – Windows & Linux (System Administrator).

Your Tasks

• Manage modern IT systems, including troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues
• Analyze and resolve system failures in daily operations (L1 & L2 Support)
• Develop and implement IT infrastructure solutions
• Monitor the IT infrastructure and ensure reliable system operation
• Install and independently commission infrastructure systems, including documentation and preparation for operation
• Ensure the operation of hardware and software applications, including manual and automated updates
• Manage users for specialized applications
• Manage IT assets and infrastructure, ensuring accurate records of installed hardware, software, licenses and maintenance contracts
• Communicate with customers and subcontractors regarding operational service topics and Incident Management

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker) with relevant professional experience, or a Master's degree / Diploma in Computer Science or Business Informatics
• Experience with IT networks, servers and operating systems is desirable
• Experience with configuring and managing network switches is required
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux infrastructure is required
• Virtualization knowledge is an advantage
• CCNA certification is an advantage
• Fluent German (negotiation level) and proficient English
