For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS Defence and Space, we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH.
The position holder (d/m/w) works as IT System Administrator – Windows & Linux (System Administrator).
Your Tasks
- Manage modern IT systems, including troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues
- Analyze and resolve system failures in daily operations (L1 & L2 Support)
- Develop and implement IT infrastructure solutions
- Monitor the IT infrastructure and ensure reliable system operation
- Install and independently commission infrastructure systems, including documentation and preparation for operation
- Ensure the operation of hardware and software applications, including manual and automated updates
- Manage users for specialized applications
- Manage IT assets and infrastructure, ensuring accurate records of installed hardware, software, licenses and maintenance contracts
- Communicate with customers and subcontractors regarding operational service topics and Incident Management
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker) with relevant professional experience, or a Master's degree / Diploma in Computer Science or Business Informatics
- Experience with IT networks, servers and operating systems is desirable
- Experience with configuring and managing network switches is required
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux infrastructure is required
- Virtualization knowledge is an advantage
- CCNA certification is an advantage
- Fluent German (negotiation level) and proficient English
