In This Role, You Will

As a Senior Systems Specialist in Digital & Engineering – Core Tribe, you’ll lead the build, automation, operation and continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure platforms supporting critical SAP Banking workloads. You’ll drive Infrastructure as Code, DevSecOps, monitoring and platform engineering practices to improve reliability, security, patching and operational efficiency across Azure and Linux-based environments.

• Build Cloud Infrastructure – implement and continuously improve secure, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions that meet agreed business, availability and performance objectives.
• Drive Infrastructure Automation – implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible to reduce manual effort, improve consistency and accelerate environment provisioning.
• Enable Platform Reliability – establish monitoring, alerting and observability capabilities that proactively identify issues and improve platform resilience.
• Champion DevOps Practices – develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps capabilities to support automated deployment and operational excellence.
• Support Enterprise SAP Platforms – deliver infrastructure and operational support for SAP environments, ensuring platform stability, security and ongoing optimisation.
• Maintain Linux Platform – maintain and modernise Red Hat Enterprise Linux platforms, including upgrades, migrations and lifecycle management activities.
• Improve Security and Compliance – embed security controls, operational governance and automation practices to reduce risk and improve compliance outcomes.
• Provide Technical Leadership – act as a subject matter expert across cloud infrastructure, automation, Linux and platform engineering domains while supporting capability uplift across teams.
• Collaborate Across Engineering Teams – partner with platform, infrastructure, security and application teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions that meet business needs.

To Thrive In This Role, You’ll Bring

• Strong hands-on experience implementing and supporting cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions across Azure and enterprise environments.
• Proven experience delivering Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, JSON and Ansible to automate provisioning, configuration management and platform lifecycle activities.
• Proven capability implementing CI/CD and GitOps practices using Azure DevSecOps and Git-based development workflows.
• Extensive scripting and automation experience using Bash to streamline operational processes, reduce manual effort and improve platform reliability.
• Proven experience collaborating with infrastructure, security and application teams to deliver enterprise-scale technology solutions in complex environments.
• Experience working within large enterprise and banking environments, supporting critical business systems while maintaining security, operational and compliance requirements.
