Purpose and Overview:

The IT Infrastructure Senior Analyst is responsible for the administration, support, and optimization of core IT infrastructure services across the organization. This role acts as the escalation point for Level 1 support and ensures the stability, performance, and security of systems including servers, cloud platforms, identity services, storage, and networking components. The position combines operational support with project delivery, contributing to continuous improvement and standardization of IT services.


Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Operations (Run & Support)

  • Provide Level 2/3 support for infrastructure-related incidents and service requests
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, virtualization, and cloud
  • Monitor system health, performance, and availability
  • Participate on incident response
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes


Identity & Access Management

  • Administer Active Directory (users, groups, service accounts)
  • Support hybrid identity environments (Entra ID, Azure AD Connect)
  • Maintain access controls aligned with security policies


Cloud & Platform Services

  • Support AWS (EC2, FSx, S3, MGN, DataSync) and Azure environments
  • Assist with cloud migrations and modernization
  • Monitor cloud utilization and optimize costs


Server & Storage Management

  • Administer Windows Server environments (2016–2025)
  • Manage SAN/NAS and cloud storage platforms
  • Support file services and permissions
  • Perform backup and recovery operations (Including DRP testing)


Network & Connectivity

  • Support Troubleshoot L2/L3 issues
  • Support VLANs, STP, LACP environments
  • Support wireless and NPS/RADIUS authentication
  • Support with local network teams at offices/operations


Security & Compliance

  • Apply security best practices
  • Support PKI and certificates
  • Assist in patching and vulnerability remediation


Automation & Scripting

  • Develop PowerShell scripts
  • Automate administrative tasks
  • Improve operational efficiency


Project Delivery (Build & Improve)

  • Participate in upgrades, migrations, and cloud initiatives
  • Follow change management processes
  • Maintain documentation and runbooks


Required Professional Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of IT infrastructure experience
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
  • Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP knowledge
  • Virtualization (VMware preferred, Hyper-V is an asset)
  • Cloud experience (EC2, FSx, S3, DataSync, EntraID, EntraDS, Intune, Conditional Access)
  • PowerShell scripting
  • Networking (L2/L3, VPN, WiFi)
  • Citrix (DaaS)
  • NPS/RADIUS


Preferred:

  • Multi-domain or hybrid identity experience
  • Enterprise storage knowledge
  • Distributed environment exposure
  • Mining experience is an asset
  • Different Infrastructure services (O365, Autopilot, MFA, PIM and/or defender)



Required Competencies:

Assets:

  • AWS Practitioner or above
  • CompTIA Network+
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator
  • ITIL Foundation


Travel requirements: up to 20%
