Centroid Solutions is seeking highly skilled and proactive NOC Engineers to join it's IT InfraOps/NOC team. Successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of the company’s IT infrastructure. This role involves hands-on technical expertise, continuous monitoring, incident response, and collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.

This is a highly hands-on role, requiring a strong engineering mindset. The ideal candidate is expected to actively build, deploy, administer, manage, and troubleshoot a wide range of systems. This is not a coordination or oversight position - success in this role depends on direct technical involvement rather than delegating tasks to external parties.

Candidates with a 5+ years of experience will be considered, with seniority determined based on expertise and depth of technical knowledge.

Before You Apply

This role may not be suitable for you if:

• You need a fixed working schedule (e.g. 9-6) - our work requires adaptability, occasional long hours, and a level of commitment that goes beyond a standard job description. This environment suits people who are willing to put in the extra effort when it’s needed

• You struggle with direct feedback - growth here depends on being open to criticism, adjusting quickly, and maintaining a high level of professionalism even when conversations become challenging

• High-pressure situations overwhelm you - things move fast, expectations are high, and the pace is demanding. We rely on people who remain composed, solution-oriented, resilient under stress, and able to think on their feet

• You are focused on immediate rewards - we operate with a long-term mindset. Sustainable success matters more than quick and easy wins

• Our core values don’t align with yours - a genuine commitment to continuous improvement, perseverance in difficult moments, and uncompromising integrity are non-negotiable in our culture.

If any of the above describe you, it’s likely that another company will better align with your working style and expectations. We believe in mutual fit and encourage you to pursue opportunities that match your strengths and preferences more closely.

Key Responsibilities

The scope of services and overall responsibilities include, but are not limited to:-

• Architect, build, deploy, and operate high-performance, fault-tolerant cloud and on-premise infrastructure, including virtual machines, baremetal servers, network infrastructure, and LAN/WAN environments • Own the availability, performance, and security of mission-critical and trading infrastructure, ensuring systems operate reliably under strict uptime and latency expectations

• Own end-to-end management of high-impact incidents, including rapid response, root cause analysis, and permanent resolution

• Drive infrastructure evolution by identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and risks, and executing improvements with measurable impact

• Enforce and uphold strict operational, security, and engineering standards, enforcing consistent engineering and operational standards

• Produce clear, accurate, and actionable documentation, ensuring systems are well understood and knowledge is effectively shared across the team

• Contribute to a high-performance engineering culture, sharing knowledge, raising the technical bar, and supporting team-wide growth

• Provide structured, timely, and transparent updates on incidents, risks, and ongoing work

• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays, and to be available outside standard working hours when required, particularly during critical incidents and maintenance windows

• Excellent understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model, LAN/WAN, roles of network devices and services

• Strong hands-on experience with monitoring tools (systems/networks), alerting systems, incident management processes, and analyzing logs and system behavior

• Proven ability to configure and troubleshoot complex systems and resolve high-impact incidents • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across infrastructure, networking, and systems layers

• Solid understanding of security best practices and infrastructure hardening

Nice to have

• Experience working with containerized applications and services (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)

• Experience with configuration management, automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Terraform, Ansible, Bash, PowerShell)
