Responsibilities:
- Maintain the security, confidentiality and integrity of information systems through compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Take ownership of problems and proactively resolve technical issues, ensuring solutions meet business requirements.
- Design, implement and operate IT infrastructure technologies and solutions.
- Create system designs to meet defined business needs, working with stakeholders to translate business problems into technical designs.
- Understand and identify problems, analyse and provide appropriate solutions.
- Maintain focus on the whole life of service delivery, ensuring IT products and vendors deliver services.
- Demonstrate lateral thinking to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across various technology capabilities.
- Visualise ideal user services and explore different design approaches.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver outstanding customer experiences through technical expertise.
- Identify and assess risks within your subject matter area, lead risk-related dialogue as the SME for that domain, and support stakeholders in making informed, risk-based decisions. Mitigate risks in delivery while keeping to agreed plan and timeframes.
- Some relevant experience.
- Experience in regulated industries, ideally finance services, with large distributed environments.
- Experience working within an ITIL service management framework.
- Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
