Data Center Architect

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support Data Center and Cloud infrastructure solutions including compute, storage, and networking environments
• Gather customer requirements and replicate customer environments in lab setups for validation and testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues
• Support migration planning, deployment, and execution for enterprise network and data center projects
• Engage with customers on technical discussions, solution improvements, and renewal opportunities
• Utilize automation and scripting tools to execute tests, streamline operations, and generate reports
• Manage project deliverables, schedules, and technical coordination activities
• Build strong customer relationships and provide technical guidance across data center infrastructure technologies
• Troubleshoot issues across networking, servers, storage, virtualization, security, middleware, and cloud platforms
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to customer success initiatives

Qualifications

• Native-level Japanese communication skills with strong understanding of Japanese business culture
• CCNP certification in Enterprise, Data Center, or Service Provider technologies
• Strong expertise in one or more areas: SDA, SD-WAN, Routing & Switching, Data Center, ACI, or Service Provider networks
• Experience in network design, implementation, and deployment using Cisco technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across multi-technology environments
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders, and global technical teams
• Experience with automation tools or scripting languages such as Python is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile project delivery methodologies and project coordination activities
• CCIE certification is highly preferred
• Experience with traffic generator tools and network testing environments is an advantage
