Senior Network Engineer – Hyderabad

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with 8–12 years of experience in enterprise network operations, monitoring, and security. The candidate should have strong expertise in routing, switching, SD-WAN, firewalls, cloud networking, and observability tools such as Splunk, Datadog, and ThousandEyes.

Mandatory Skills

Routing and Switching: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP

Network Security: Palo Alto / Fortinet / Cisco Firepower, VPN, IDS/IPS

SD-WAN: Cisco Viptela, Meraki, or equivalent

Wireless: Cisco or Aruba Wireless

Cloud Networking: AWS, Azure, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute

Monitoring and Observability: Splunk, Datadog, Cisco ThousandEyes

Network Tools: SolarWinds, Wireshark, PRTG

Automation: Python, Ansible (preferred)

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support enterprise LAN/WAN, Data Center, and Cloud networks.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues related to routing, switching, security, and connectivity.

Monitor network performance and availability using Splunk, Datadog, and ThousandEyes.

Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, and wireless infrastructure.

Perform root cause analysis, capacity planning, and network optimization.

Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams to ensure high service availability.

Maintain technical documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred Certifications

CCNP / CCIE Enterprise

PCNSE or Fortinet NSE

Cisco SD-WAN Certification

AWS Advanced Networking or Azure Network Engineer (AZ-700)

Splunk and Datadog Certifications (preferred)

Notice Period: Immediate to 60 Days Preferred.
