Infrastructure Engineer

My client are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support and enhance enterprise environments across a global footprint. You’ll work closely with internal teams to design, maintain, and improve secure, resilient infrastructure.

What you’ll do:

• Support and troubleshoot enterprise infrastructure (including occasional out-of-hours work)
• Design and implement robust, scalable solutions with architecture teams
• Own incidents, problems, and continuous improvements
• Contribute to projects such as upgrades, migrations, and deployments
• Maintain high standards of documentation and best practice

What you’ll bring:

• 5+ years’ infrastructure engineering/support experience
• Strong networking knowledge (routing, switching, firewalls, Wi-Fi)
• VMware virtualisation and storage experience
• Windows/Active Directory and Office 365 (Exchange Online/hybrid) expertise
• Familiarity with Azure networking and SD-WAN
• Solid understanding of ITIL processes
• Clear communication and a proactive mindset

Nice to have:

Palo Alto/Fortinet, advanced networking (BGP/OSPF), enterprise Wi-Fi/LAN (Cisco, Meraki, Aruba), DR/backup tools (Veeam), and relevant certifications (CCNP, NSE4, Microsoft).
