About the Opportunity

StevenDouglas is partnered with a well-established company to lead a search for a Director of Infrastructure. The company operates locations across Florida and is investing heavily in its technology organization.

This is a high-visibility leadership role reporting directly to the CIO, with full ownership of enterprise infrastructure including cloud, networking, and end-user support operations.

What You Will Do

• Lead the infrastructure organization, managing a team of managers across cloud services, network services, and technical support
• Own the company's hybrid cloud environment, including strategy, operations, cost management, and ongoing modernization
• Oversee enterprise networking across a large, distributed multi-site footprint, including WAN, LAN, and wireless
• Direct 24/7 end-user support operations serving a large and geographically dispersed employee base
• Manage key vendor and managed service provider relationships, including outsourced support functions
• Partner with the CIO and executive leadership on infrastructure roadmap, budgeting, and technology investments
• Build, develop, and retain a strong technical leadership bench

What We Are Looking For

• 10+ years of progressive infrastructure experience, with 5+ years in leadership roles managing managers
• Hands-on background with public cloud platforms and hybrid cloud environments
• Strong enterprise networking experience across multi-site environments
• Experience overseeing helpdesk or service desk operations, ideally including outsourced or MSP-supported models
• Proven vendor management and contract oversight skills
• Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to translate technical topics for business leadership
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
