The Opportunity
We are looking for 7 L1 Application Support Analysts to join our growing IT Service team in Madrid or Barcelona.
In this entry-level role, you will be part of the first line of support for business applications used across our organization, helping users resolve incidents and service requests while ensuring an effective and timely support experience.
This role does not require a development background; instead, we are looking for people with a good understanding of IT and applications, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and an interest in building their career in application support and IT service management.
You will join an international environment and contribute to a growing support organization that provides service across multiple time zones.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Act as a first point of contact for users experiencing issues with business applications, analysing requests and providing initial functional support.
- Manage incidents and service requests throughout their lifecycle, ensuring accurate documentation, prioritisation and timely follow-up.
- Troubleshoot common application issues and guide users when incidents are related to functionality or incorrect use of the application.
- Escalate incidents requiring deeper technical analysis or development to the appropriate L2/L3 teams and follow up through resolution.
- Monitor recurring incidents and collaborate with other support and technical teams to identify opportunities for service improvement.
- Contribute to an effective support service through clear communication, structured ticket management and a strong customer-oriented approach.
- Vocational training (FP/Grado Superior), Bachelor's degree, technical courses or equivalent knowledge in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related area.
- Previous experience or relevant knowledge in Service Desk, Help Desk, Application Support, IT Support or similar environments; junior profiles with relevant training are welcome.
- Basic understanding of business applications, IT environments and incident/service request management.
- Familiarity with ITSM or ticketing tools; experience with ServiceNow is considered an advantage.
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills, with a customer-service mindset.
- Availability to work from Madrid or Barcelona in a hybrid model. As the team will provide support across different time zones, positions will be available across different service shifts, including morning, afternoon and night coverage.
