Your new Role:
As a Head of IT Infrastructure, your role will encompass the operation and continuous development of a reliable, high-performance, and secure hybrid IT infrastructure across on-premises, private cloud, public cloud, and workplace environments, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal stakeholders, external service providers, and key IT teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the operation, reliability, performance, and security of the company’s hybrid IT infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, network, and workplace environments.
- Manage and further develop the infrastructure landscape, including cloud migration, SaaS adoption, network architecture, annual planning, budgeting, and optimization of existing hybrid environments.
- Ensure effective delivery of central infrastructure services, including servers, storage/SAN, operating systems, databases, network components, and security services.
- Manage external service providers and managed service providers, ensuring SLA compliance, KPI monitoring, reporting, and continuous service improvement.
- Oversee IT service management processes, including incident, problem, change, configuration, capacity, continuity, backup and recovery, and patch management.
- Provide technical and disciplinary leadership and further develop the infrastructure team, while overseeing the external 1st-level help desk and internal 2nd-level application support team.
- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data protection requirements, including DORA, GDPR, ISO 27001, audits, and corrective measures.
- Collaborate closely with IT application managers, IT security/CISO, enterprise architecture, internal stakeholders, and external providers on infrastructure performance, risks, and resilience.
What you will need to be successful:
- 7 to 12 years’ professional experience in IT infrastructure, ideally in the financial industry or at an IT service provider serving the financial industry, with strong exposure to hybrid environments.
- Solid, demonstrable experience managing hybrid IT infrastructures, including virtualization, cloud platforms, networking, and enterprise workplace systems.
- Strong knowledge of modern workplace environments, particularly Microsoft 365 and hybrid infrastructure integration.
- Deep understanding of infrastructure security and cybersecurity practices in hybrid and cloud environments.
- Process-oriented approach and solid experience with IT service management frameworks, preferably ITIL.
- Proven experience leading and developing a team of approximately six IT professionals, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Strong interest in 2nd-level application support and application maintenance activities, ensuring effective incident resolution, root cause analysis, and close collaboration with business and development teams.
- Experience in cloud migration or infrastructure transformation projects, as well as with ISO 27001, DORA and GDPR requirements and audits, is desirable.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- French language skills will be considered a plus.
