The Senior Network Engineer in Global IT Organization, will be in Fort Washington site and reporting to Network Manager located in Singapore. This position will manage a portfolio of IT Network and Firewall infrastructure efficiency. This includes providing operational support, ensuring high availability, high IT Security and implement Network and system projects.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with team members to design, deploy, and operate network infrastructure globally.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams and vendors to design and operate the network (circuit, hardware deployment, project execution, etc.), with a strong focus on maintaining a high level of availability and IT Security for our users.
  • Perform scheduled configuration changes on network switches, routers, firewalls, load-balancer, proxy server, and wireless devices.
  • To manage IT projects and support infrastructure hardware & software technologies upgrades and system implementation
  • To perform network operations and management, including incident response, problem management, and change management.
  • To perform operations due diligence and ensure security & resiliency of the network platform.
  • Identify network issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Dealing with escalated network support issues.
  • Drawing up network status reports


Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree, in Information Technology, Engineering or related field
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Knowledge of implementing and supporting large scale multi-vendor networks (Cisco, Check Point, Palo Alto, Zscaler, in Azure cloud, in OCI cloud)
  • Strong experience with network change management control policies, LAN & WAN troubleshooting skills, and an understanding of network security best practices
  • Good understanding of IP routing and switching technologies.
  • Familiar with network analysis tools
  • High level problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations promptly and be able to perform system upgrades or project execution after office hour/weekend where necessary.
  • Experience in supporting SD-WAN and Cisco NAC is a plus.
  • Proficiency with coding languages (e.g., Python and Perl) is a plus.
