Responsible for ensuring that account managers (AMs), consultants, and end-users are updated with the latest
technical information, with special emphasis on key company solution differentiators. Provide technical support that
facilitates the marketing and sales of CommScope products so that corporate goals for quality, growth, market share,
and profitability are met. Supports sales and marketing efforts concerning the installation, industry best practices, and
general use of CommScope products.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical direction for pre- and/or post-sales technical staff and support activities to develop customer
- Work with sales and marketing to provide pre- and/or post-sales application engineering support in order to provide

- Support the roll out of new products with external presentations focused on the technical differentiation aspects of the product and value proposition.
- Create, enhance, and deliver solutions presentations for end-user customers and consultants geared toward
new material back to the larger technical community for broader use.
- Provide engineering support to regional/global customer base and inside/outside sales personnel by answering
liaison between regional/global customers and manufacturing/engineering by forwarding customer technical requests
and coordinating communication and follow-up with customers on results of requests.
- Provide feedback to product engineering on current market trends and design features that will improve the
development of new products with particular focus around application support.
- Review bid specifications with consultants, business partners, and end-users to position CommScope’s entire product portfolio with emphasis on higher value-added/technology solutions, and to alert AMs and Product Management, if issues exist.
- Perform on-site warranty certification inspections to ensure that CommScope guidelines have been followed during
- Contribute product literature maintenance by identifying inconsistencies and errors. Support sales and marketing with any media activities. This may include writing articles for publications, assisting with advertising or preparing
- Attend meetings and report on industry standards activity when required.
- Bachelor/Masters Degree in Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer or appropriate field with 10 minimum
- Good understanding of LAN/WAN systems and physical media requirements, including wireless, IoT and Buildings applications.
- Possess current industry technical certification (preferred) (BICSI RCDD, SYSTIMAX, NETCONNECT, FTTH)
- Computer and office skill required (MS Office, Window Unix OS, Visio or CAD Drawing)
- Preferably with minimum of 5 years structured cabling system design experience
- Knowledgeable of local building, electrical and data-communication codes and regulations (e.g. NEC, CSA, IBC)
- Knowledgeable of local structured cabling standards (e.g. CENELEC, ISO 11801)
- Subject matter expert in many Cabling Solution and product ranges across assigned CommScope Concentration(s)
- Ability to influence, train, and mentor channel partners and system integration partners
- Deal closing skills to assist sales force Influence outcome of a tender response technically through product expertise
- Ability to create and deliver sales and training presentations with confidence and customer-facing skill
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – English ( Swedish and Danish are highly- desirable)
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to establish and maintain relationships
- Advanced technical skill set and well-developed problem-solving abilities
- Excellent problem-solving skills are important in this role drive for results in addressing customer challenges
