Senior Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain the Group's global IT infrastructure, ensuring networks, systems, and platforms are consistently implemented, managed, and maintained.
• Administer global learning platforms, including P2E and The Slice.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain network and security infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Firewalls, SASE, Cloud Networking, and Wireless Networks.
• Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure network solutions to meet business requirements.
• Configure and maintain IP routing and switching equipment.
• Integrate multi-vendor and multi-technology networking solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network availability, performance, and security.
• Manage cloud infrastructure, including cloud-based servers, networking, and related services.
• Deploy and manage enterprise wireless networks to ensure optimal coverage, security, and performance.
• Monitor system logs and alerts, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Utilize automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python, Terraform) to streamline network configuration and management.
• Work closely with managed service providers to resolve incidents and service requests within established SLAs.
• Perform routine onsite maintenance and provide technical support across company sites.
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, service requests, and technical changes in Jira.
• Collaborate with team members to promote knowledge sharing and standardized processes.
• Participate in an on-call support roster when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of IT industry experience.
• At least 5 years of experience implementing and administering complex network and security infrastructure.
• Bachelor's Degree or tertiary qualification in Information Technology or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Palo Alto Networks, Microsoft Azure, AWS, or equivalent are an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and RIP.
• Extensive experience with IP Networking, LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and Data Communications.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls, Prisma SASE, Cisco, Meraki, and Azure Cloud Networking is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in computer hardware, software, and enterprise network environments.
• Experience supporting end-user technologies, mobility platforms, IT ticketing systems, and remote support tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
