Expert Operations & Delivery Engineer

We are looking for an Expert Operations & Delivery Engineer to be employed in our İstanbul office.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Supporting Kron solutions deployed in telecommunications operators & big enterprise customers to solve the customer problems related with different products.
• Create and maintain a high standard of operational excellence in global systems support.
• Oversee the effectiveness and success of all system support services
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and training plans for resource administration and proper usage.
• Provide guidance and technical expertise on issues encountered within the systems.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with local and global customers and vendors.

Key Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of enterprise system and software support experience with strong focus on java application log analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigation in production environments.
• Hands-on experience in Linux/Unix environments is required, including strong knowledge of Unix commands and bash scripting.
• Must have hands-on experience in Linux/Unix operating systems for system and application support.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of estimating levels of effort and managing projects through to completion.
• Excellent organizational, supervisory, communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be willing to travel and spend periods of time at various sites.
• Experience communicating and working with external customers and 3rd party vendors
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to approach problems from different perspectives.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Experience working in a 24-7 Production environment
• Experience communicating with 3rd party vendors.

Preferred Experience (Alongside Core Requirements)

• Database knowledge/experience.
• Networking knowledge/experience.
• Prior experience working directly with telecom operators or large enterprise customers.
