Technical Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated ''Technical Engineer'' to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support, configuration support, troubleshooting support to system integrators, installer and end customers.

• Follow up the demo product test with partners, provide support, and collect feedback when the partners test the products.

• Provide daily Presales support when customer project request comes, including checking RFP and selecting products for partners and customers by email/phone call/visits if necessary.

• On company demand, go to the field for important projects, do site surveys, and troubleshoot with the system integrator.

• Positive and Responsive at work, can communicate positively and properly with system integrators, installers and customers.

• Experienced with Microsoft Office software.

Knowledge & Technical Abilities:

• Master the knowledge of TCP/IP Protocol families

• Master network technologies, such as Enterprise WLAN(Wi-Fi), L2/L3 Ethernet Switching, Firewall/Routing, IP Surveillance (Camera/NVR/VMS), and Outdoor PtP/PtMP.

• CCNP or other brands’ technical qualifications are preferred.

• Familiar with at least 1 networking brand’s enterprise solutions and configuration.

• The ability of CLI configuration of L3 switches is a must.

• Familiar with at least 1 IP Camera brand’s solution and configuration.

• Can do field installation, and configuration of corporate networks.

• Can do good troubleshooting for common network issues.

• Can use Wireshark to do protocol-level troubleshooting by following SOP from the headquarters R&D team.

• Can use Airmagnet, Ekahau, Aruba VisualRF, or other tools to create network topology, wi-fi heatmap, and WLAN planning. (If not familiar, we can teach you)

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of work experience in IP Networking Industries.

• Good experience with Networking/CCTV brands and familiarity with their products.

• Good troubleshooting ability.

• Good self-learning ability about technical knowledges.
