Salary Range: $70,000 - $110,000 (DOE)
Positions Available: 2 (1 Entry-Level, 1 Mid-Level)
Position Overview
We are seeking Network Assessment & DevSecOps Engineers to join a high-visibility team in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will evaluate existing network architectures, perform blue-teaming/defensive security assessments, and build comprehensive network topologies to help shape and design architecture for upcoming defense contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Map, diagram, and document existing enterprise network topologies to support future contract architecture design.
- Conduct network security assessments and defensive blue-teaming operations to identify vulnerabilities and bottlenecks.
- Implement automated scripts and CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps) to streamline network configuration and testing.
- Collaborate with systems engineers to propose tactical network improvements and modernization plans.
- Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Experience Levels:
- Entry-Level ($70k - $85k): 0-2 years of experience with network mapping, Visio/Nmap/Wireshark, and basic scripting (Python/Bash).
- Mid-Level ($85k - $110k): 3-5+ years of experience with network architecture assessments, defensive cyber/blue teaming, and DevSecOps tooling.
- Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+ CE) required or ability to obtain within 60 days.
- Skills: Hands-on familiarity with network mapping tools, packet capture analysis, defensive cybersecurity practices, and network design concepts.
