Senior Information Technology Engineer
Indexed description
This is the primary IT role within the company — you will be the main person responsible for the entire on-site IT infrastructure, with direct support from VNG's IT engineering team in terms of expertise, tools, and handling situations beyond your scope. This role is suitable for candidates who want real ownership of systems — not waiting for tickets from supervisors or seeking approval for every small step.
Core Responsibilities (Primary):
- Network & Security: Operate Routers, L2/L3 Switches, WiFi, Firewalls, and VPNs; troubleshoot complex issues, manage network security policies, and coordinate with ISPs.
- Server, Storage & Backup: Administer File Servers, Application Servers, and NAS systems; operate and regularly test backup and restore procedures.
- Microsoft 365 & Email: Administer Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and Intune; ensure email deliverability (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
- Endpoint & ITAM: Standardize devices (imaging, deployment), operate Antivirus/EDR/DLP solutions, and manage the lifecycle of hardware assets and software licenses.
Extended Responsibilities (Secondary):
- Coordinate the implementation and operation of ERP systems and business applications; work with technical vendors.
- Operate and maintain camera systems, access control systems, and meeting room equipment.
- Provide IT Support according to ticketing processes and SLA requirements when needed.
- Develop SOPs, runbooks, infrastructure diagrams, and periodic reports for management.
