IT Corp Lead

Overview:

IT Corp Lead refers to the management, maintenance, and optimization of an organization's IT environment. This includes the hardware, software, networks, and services that support the organization's operations. Effective IT infrastructure and system operations ensure that all IT resources are reliable, available, and secure, supporting business processes and goals.

Key Components:

1.IT Infrastructure:

• Hardware: Servers, storage devices, network devices, and other physical components.
• Software: Operating systems, databases, enterprise applications, and middleware.
• Networks: LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, routers, switches, and internet connectivity.
• Data Centers and Cloud Services: On-premises data centers and cloud-based services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).

2.System Operations:

• Monitoring and Management: Continuous monitoring of system performance, availability, and security.
• Maintenance: Regular updates, patches, and repairs to hardware and software components.
• Backup and Recovery: Ensuring data is regularly backed up and can be recovered in case of a failure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement IT infrastructure to meet business needs.
• Plan capacity and scalability to accommodate growth.
• Ensure integration and interoperability of various systems.

2.Implementation and Deployment:

• Deploy hardware and software components.
• Configure network settings and security protocols.
• Implement cloud solutions and migrate services as needed.

3.Monitoring and Optimization:

• Use monitoring tools to track system performance and identify issues.
• Optimize system configurations for better performance and efficiency.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance and security.

4.Security and Compliance:

• Implement security measures such as firewalls, encryption, and access controls.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Perform regular security assessments and penetration testing.

5.Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:

• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans.
• Conduct regular backup and recovery drills.
• Ensure critical systems can be restored quickly in case of an outage.

6.User Support and Training:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users.
• Develop user guides and training materials.
• Conduct training sessions to enhance user competence with IT systems.

Best Practices:

• Adopt ITIL Framework: Use the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework to manage IT services effectively.
• Implement Automation: Use automation tools for routine tasks to reduce errors and increase efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and System operations
• Proven experience with network administration, system administration, and IT security.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization, and storage solutions.
• Experience with Azure, AD, DHCP, DNS, MS 365, SharePoint.
• Experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
• Have experience with Linux (Centos, Ubuntu, Debian, …).
• Knowledge in system as Server, Storage or Hybrid Infrastructure as VMware, Hyper-V, HCI, OpenStack... and Cloud solutions is an advantage
• Hard-working and willing to learn, self-study ability
• Ability with Network/Security consulting, deployment, troubleshooting.
• Have good understanding: Network model, TCP/IP model, IP & VoIP, IPsec VPN, SD Wan, planning IP address, VLAN, wireless system, security system
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
