5G RF Network Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

• You define and maintain validation strategies for wireless network features and system capabilities.
• You verify compliance with system requirements, performance targets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• You conduct latency, throughput, scalability, and coverage testing to assess overall network performance.
• You validate mobility, handover, and inter-radio access technology (IRAT) performance across wireless environments.
• You develop test methodologies, validation frameworks, and automation approaches to improve testing efficiency and quality.
• You support certification activities, field trials, and customer acceptance testing to ensure technical readiness.
• You analyze network performance issues, perform root cause investigations, and provide objective readiness assessments to stakeholders.

THATS YOU

• Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a comparable technical field
• Experience in wireless system testing, network validation, and performance analysis within cellular communication environments
• Strong knowledge of 4G LTE, 5G NR, IoT technologies, and wireless network integration
• Understanding of public and private mobile network architectures and their operational requirements
• Hands-on experience with RF testing, KPI-driven product validation, and network performance benchmarking
• Knowledge of wireless protocols, troubleshooting methodologies, and root cause analysis techniques
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills
• Fluent English language skills; German or additional languages are a plus
