Sr. Network Engineer | Enterprise & Industrial Networks

We are seeking a hands-on, highly technical Senior Network Engineer to design, secure, and optimize standard enterprise networks and mission-critical production (OT) environments.

This is a direct-hire, hybrid role based in Fort Worth, TX (3 days in-office, relocation available). In this role, you will perform the technical "heavy lifting" to execute configurations, lead key hardware migrations, and support post-acquisition network integrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hands-on Operations & Escalations: Serve as the senior escalation lead for Tier 3 routing, switching, firewall, and wireless incidents to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Infrastructure Transformation: Execute network vendor migrations (wireless/wired), next-gen firewall upgrades, and SD-WAN deployments across key regional facilities.
  • M&A Network Integration: Perform technical work to absorb newly acquired sites into the enterprise backbone, transitioning designs into fully staged and deployed hardware.
  • Security & Segmentation: Maintain secure access frameworks, including Cisco ISE, Zero Trust concepts, and IT/OT (Purdue model) industrial network segmentation.
  • Long-Term Operational Excellence: Maintain peak performance, refine runbooks, and document architecture standardizations post-deployment.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience (must excel at manual execution without relying on MSPs or basic GUIs).
  • Expertise in routing/switching (OSPF, BGP, L2/L3, VLANs, HA) and wireless infrastructure.
  • Strong background in WAN/SD-WAN (MPLS, internet overlays, path selection) and Firewalls (zones, NAT, VPN, policies).
  • Proficient with network diagramming (Visio) and runbook documentation.
  • Willingness to travel 15–20% initially (5–10% long-term) for project rollouts.

Preferred Skills

  • Cisco switches/routers, Ruckus Wireless, Palo Alto Firewalls, Prisma SD-WAN, and Infoblox DDI.
  • Cisco ISE (802.1X/MAB, TACACS+/RADIUS) and SASE frameworks.
  • Manufacturing, plant floor, or OT/Purdue model networking experience.
  • Certs/Degree: CCNP, PCNSE, Ruckus equivalents, or a Bachelor’s in CS/related field.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $140,000 – $160,000 (DOE)
  • Perks: Day-one health/dental/vision coverage, Profit Sharing, matching 401(k), relocation assistance, and employee support programs.

Location: Fort Worth, TX (Hybrid - 3 days in-office)
