Our client is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to support mid-to-large enterprise clients on a 6-12 month contract to hire basis.
What You'll Do
- Lead VMware vSphere/ESXi and vCenter design, deployment, and upgrade projects, including version upgrades, cluster builds, and environment modernization
- Plan and execute enterprise storage upgrades and migrations (SAN/NAS), including capacity planning, platform refreshes, and data migration between storage tiers/vendors
- Manage workload migrations and HA/DRS configuration across virtualized environments
- Design, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise networking environments (routing, switching, WAN/LAN)
- Lead WLAN design and wireless deployments, including RF site surveys and analysis
- Configure and support firewall/VPN solutions across multiple vendor platforms
- Lead Microsoft 365 and cloud initiatives, including migrations and identity/security configuration
- Design and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Partner directly with clients on discovery calls and solution design sessions
