Network L1 / L2 Engineer – Dispatch FSE

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Network L1/L2 Engineers to support Data Center and IT Infrastructure operations across multiple global locations. This is a field-based, dispatch-oriented role requiring strong hands-on networking and infrastructure support skills in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite L1/L2 network support for data center and enterprise environments
• Handle dispatch-based incidents and service requests
• Perform rack & stack, cabling, labeling, and device installation
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, hardware, and infrastructure issues
• Replace faulty hardware components (routers, switches, access points, etc.)
• Coordinate with remote L3 / NOC / SOC teams for resolution
• Perform basic configuration validation and connectivity testing
• Maintain proper documentation, incident updates, and closure reports
• Ensure adherence to customer security and compliance standards

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Data Center Operations or IT Infrastructure Support
• Strong hands-on experience in network troubleshooting and support
• Good understanding of:
• Switches and Routers
• Structured Cabling
• Rack & Stack activities
• Monitoring and ticketing tools
• Experience in incident handling and dispatch-based support models
• Ability to work independently in onsite environments
  

Language Requirements

• English (Mandatory)
• Local language proficiency as per location (Preferred)

Background Verification

• Candidate must comply with customer-specific background verification (BGV) requirements
