Your impact

As ICT Product Manager Networks, you will work in a unique environment where IT and operational continuity come together. You will be responsible for the networks that support the operations of one of Europe’s key airports. From passengers and airlines to security services and operational teams, your work has a visible impact on thousands of users every day.

What you will achieve with us:

Service Ownership & Continuous Improvement: You are end-to-end responsible for our network services, ensuring that Brussels Airport’s critical network infrastructure remains performant, secure, and future-proof.

• Responsible for SLAs, performance, incident, problem, and event management.
• Oversee lifecycle management, upgrades, patching, and end-of-life programs.
• Prepare and manage budgets within your service domain.
• Continuously improve reliability, availability, and user experience, with a strong focus on risk and compliance.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Maintain disaster recovery plans and network standards.
• Act as the central link between vendors, internal customers, architects, and management.

Strategy, Roadmap & Change: You contribute to shaping the future network architecture of Brussels Airport.

• Translate business needs and market trends into concrete roadmap initiatives.
• Develop business cases and support investment decisions.
• Deliver roadmap initiatives and projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects and cybersecurity experts to implement sustainable and secure solutions.
• Identify and assess emerging technologies and network automation opportunities.

People Leadership: You lead the ICT Network Team and further strengthen a future-oriented center of expertise.

• Coach, motivate, and develop team members.
• Define objectives and conduct performance and development discussions.
• Encourage knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
• Foster a positive, results-driven, and customer-focused team culture.

What you bring:

You have a strong expertise in enterprise networking and network security, including:

• LAN, WLAN, and WAN (experience with HPE Aruba environments is a strong asset)
• Routing & Switching
• SD-WAN and Software-Defined Networking
• Network Access Control (NAC)
• VPN solutions and remote connectivity
• PKI and certificate management
• IP Address Management (IPAM)
• Endpoint and network security
