How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Performs critical (sometimes escalated) design and performance activities in customer projects independently (complex problem solving in projects and multi-vendor environments).
- Develops / Reviews and makes recommendations on network-wide Design covering Performance, Spectrum & Capacity supported by Recommendations (within and across the region).
- Organizes field measurements and laboratory tests.
- Performs network audits, especially in cases where fault or problems exist.
- Optimizes networks with all components based on traffic trends and customer forecasts.
- Supports experts in developing network configuration file and interface analysis
- Develop network architecture and services designs with the best architecture available to support our customer's services.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or Computer Science or 5+ years equivalent practical work experience.
- Experience in MPLS, ISIS, Segment Routing, BGP protocols, LDP and RSVP-TE, and L2/L3 VPNs over MPLS, Nokia Route.
- Experience in QoS implementation/testing; familiarity with testing tools like Spirent and IXIA.
- Expertise troubleshooting, monitoring, and configuring the noted IP networking protocols.
- A customer mindset and solid written and verbal communication skills to end-clients.
- Nokia DataCenter experience is strongly preferred.
- Nokia products experience (7750SR, 7250 IXR, 7705SAR, 7210SAS, EDA and NSP).
