As part of hands-on work, you'll also be responsible for deploying, configuring and verifying the core part of these private 5G solutions.
The role involves some occasional travel to customer sites, allowing you to gain valuable hands-on experience.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Participate in verification activities in an end-to-end environment (including Radio, core, switching and other, sometimes 3rd party products).
- Drive test planning of regression and new features.
- Write, execute, and analyze end-to-end and robustness test cases (manually as well in automated manner).
- Plan and configure test environment setup.
- Do hands-on configuration and integration of the different components into a working solution, focusing on the Core part.
- Validate the solution and participate in the customer testing, document the results.
- Work closely with customers from different sectors of Enterprise segment to understand and define their use cases and how Nokia can help them achieve their goals.
- Participate in various, short-term PoC projects.
- Good understanding of 4G/5G technologies (primarily in Core, ideally also in Radio segment for end-to-end config / troubleshooting)
- Has hands-on experience in:
- Integration (working with complex systems)
- HW commissioning
- Linux knowledge (via CLI interface)
- E2E troubleshooting
- Deep theoretical and practical expertise with Networking (experience with 7250 IXRe and SAR routers; CCNA certificate is preferred):
- Routing techniques (OSPF, MPLS,..)
- IP planning
- Troubleshooting of the above
- Testing experience (ISTQB foundation preferred)
- As a plus, experience with:
- MantaRay product
- Direct customer interaction
- Fluent in English, enjoys problem solving and teamwork
