Position: Senior Network Engineer - Palo Alto

Compensation: $130,000 - $140,000

Location: Houston, Texas

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Support and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure
• Manage and configure Cisco routers, switches, and SD-WAN
• Implement and maintain Palo Alto firewalls
• Ensure network security, availability, and performance
• Assist with network design and optimization
• Support Azure networking and Microsoft Teams Calling
• Contribute to project planning and execution

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise environments
• Strong networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, routing, protocols)
• Hands-on experience with Cisco
• Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto environments
• Experience with SD-WAN implementation
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Oil & Gas industry experience
• SCADA and field communications exposure
• Azure networking experience
• Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Network+, Azure)

Other Information:

• On-call rotation required
• Travel: ~10–15% (primarily west of San Antonio)
