What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and optimize enterprise network and security solutions across LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and firewall environments.
- Lead network implementations, migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements from planning through production deployment.
- Own complex network and security changes while ensuring system stability, performance, and security.
- Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for advanced networking and security issues. Perform deep technical troubleshooting, packet analysis, root cause analysis, and long-term remediation.
- Collaborate with key customer stakeholders, internal engineering teams, and technology partners to resolve technical challenges.
- Maintain technical documentation, implementation standards, and change records.
- Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering.
- Strong experience designing, implementing, and supporting LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and enterprise firewall environments.
- Advanced knowledge of routing and switching, including BGP and OSPF.
- Experience with Cisco Enterprise Networking, Cisco Meraki, and Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with experience performing packet captures, root cause analysis, and complex incident resolution.
- Experience planning and implementing network migrations, upgrades, and production changes.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.
- Professional-level English communication skills.
- Experience with Palo Alto Panorama and GlobalProtect.
- Experience with 802.1X, Network Access Control (NAC), and cloud networking.
- Experience with automation or scripting (Python, Terraform, or similar).
- Experience supporting large enterprise environments or managed services.
- Cisco CCNP Certification or equivalent.
