Indexed description
We are looking for an experienced L3 Network Engineer to join our IP Department. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, provisioning, optimizing, and supporting advanced network infrastructure for both the ISP backbone and customer environments. You will handle complex N3 escalations, deploy new network projects, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the network architecture. This is a hands-on operations-focused role rather than a pure architecture position.
Requisitos
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in network engineering, preferably within an ISP environment.
- Strong expertise in BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EVPN, Multicast, and IP addressing.
- Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting networks through CLI in multivendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, Fortinet, MikroTik, or similar).
- Experience with LAN, WAN, WLAN, IP Transit, and Peering services.
- Experience using network monitoring tools such as Zabbix, LibreNMS, or Dude.
- Experience with ticketing platforms such as Jira or osTicket.
- B2 English or higher, with the ability to communicate effectively in technical meetings with vendors.
- CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certifications.
- Security certifications such as Fortinet.
- Experience working in multivendor and mission-critical network environments.
- Configure, deploy, and provision new L3 network projects and services.
- Manage and optimize ISP and customer network infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex N3 network incidents, performing technical analysis before escalating to vendors.
- Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of the network architecture.
- Execute scheduled maintenance and network changes during maintenance windows when required.
- Monitor network performance and ensure high service availability.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions.
- Participate in the on-call rotation after the onboarding period.
