Network Performance Engineer at BairesDev

As a Network Performance Engineer, you will specialize in optimizing network efficiency to ensure high-speed data transmission and minimal delays. You will play a vital role in enhancing system responsiveness by fine-tuning protocols and infrastructure to support seamless global connectivity for all users.

What You'll Do

• Analyze network metrics to identify and remediate bottlenecks affecting latency and throughput.
• Design and implement CDN strategies to accelerate content delivery and reduce propagation delays.
• Perform protocol-level tuning, specifically focusing on TCP/IP efficiency and packet flow.
• Utilize network analysis tools like Wireshark to troubleshoot complex connectivity and performance issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to optimize network topology and logical data paths.
• Establish performance baselines and monitor real-time traffic to proactively prevent congestion.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Network Performance Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure.
• Proven expertise in optimizing network performance, including latency reduction and throughput maximization.
• Advanced proficiency in protocol-level tuning and deep understanding of TCP/IP.
• Hands-on experience with network analysis tools such as Wireshark for troubleshooting and performance monitoring.
• Strong background in designing and implementing CDN strategies to optimize content delivery.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
