Senior Network Specialist (IT/OT)

Glocomms is partnered with a leading clean energy company in Fairfield County, CT, seeking a Senior Network Specialist (IT/OT) to support and enhance critical network infrastructure across both corporate IT and operational technology environments. This individual will play a key role in maintaining the security, reliability, and compliance of networks that support energy generation, transmission, and business operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in regulated critical infrastructure environments, with a strong understanding of industrial control systems (ICS), OT networking principles, and cybersecurity best practices. This individual should be comfortable collaborating across IT, operational, engineering, and compliance teams to strengthen network security, support audits, and drive risk reduction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support enterprise and OT network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Design and maintain network segmentation strategies utilizing zone and conduit architecture principles.
• Lead vulnerability management and patching efforts across IT and OT environments.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives focused on securing industrial control systems and critical infrastructure assets.
• Ensure compliance with NERC CIP, NERC CMEP, ISO-NE, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Partner with security, engineering, and operations teams to implement network security controls and remediation plans.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security posture, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with audits, assessments, incident response activities, and regulatory reporting as needed.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in network engineering, network security, or infrastructure support roles.
• Experience supporting both IT and OT/ICS environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with firewalls, network segmentation, routing, switching, and access control technologies.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management, patch management, and cybersecurity frameworks within critical infrastructure environments.
• Familiarity with NERC CIP, NERC CMEP, ISO-NE, and utility industry compliance requirements.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience within energy, utilities, renewables, or other regulated critical infrastructure industries is highly preferred.

This is role will require candidates to follow a hybrid work schedule based around the company's Danbury HQ. Candidates must be comfortable working in diverse environments and coming onsite 2-3 days per week.
