Core Network Team Leader

Job Summary:

Focus on managing and optimizing the network infrastructure within the datacenter environment and ensure high stability and availability of core network components.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the implementations Installation, Execution, and Engineering Supports for DC systems
• Follow up the business continuity and implementations for DC (S/W & H/W) in
• Develop & Improve the DC implementation with the latest technology & ICT policies standards
• Verify & Enhance the DC core system with LAN & WAN Networks
• Maintains quality standards on service delivery in times of sustainability and the timing
• Assist in identifying in implementations DC Network risks & reports them
• Supervise the request of change acceptances
• Support ICT operations & help desk departments on agreed service criteria
• Deliver ICT support (first line and second line) country wide on agreed service criteria
• Coordinate the relationship with the providers and external parties
• Supervise and execute planned DC network maintenance activity and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations while minimizing impact to services.

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP. different network routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF and switching techniques.
• Experience with hardware from vendors other than Cisco such as Huawei, juniper,..etc.
• Strong knowledge of implementation and operation of the network virtualization “ Cisco ACI is highly preferred".
• Familiarity with other virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V,…etc.
• Deeply understanding of Information Technology-ITIL Knowledge.
• Understanding of IT industry working practices / methodologies –Ability to manage the relationship with the 3rd party.
• Fluent in both written and spoken Arabic and English languages.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in communication engineering/ computer science Minimum 8 years or more of professional experience Network and Information technology experience.
• CCNA, CCNP Data Centre certified preferred.
• CCIE is highly preferred.
