Network Security Manager

Job Overview:

The Network Security Manager is responsible for securing and managing Halan Tech’s network and perimeter infrastructure, including firewalls, WAFs, DDoS protection, NAC systems, switches, and routers. This role ensures the security, availability, and compliance of our fintech ecosystem across both on-premises and cloud environments. It requires a balance of technical expertise and leadership to uphold operational excellence and a strong security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation and daily operations of network and perimeter security strategies.


• Oversee configuration, maintenance, and optimization of firewalls, WAFs, DDoS protection, NAC systems, switches, and routers.


• Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews in line with PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, and CBE standards.


• Identify opportunities to modernize and enhance network security practices and technologies.


• Deliver next-generation network solutions to improve scalability and protection.


• Develop and mentor the network security team, fostering a high-performance culture.


• Ensure governance, documentation, and adherence to security policies and procedures.


• Design and test business continuity and disaster recovery plans.


• Protect organizational data and intellectual property from internal and external threats.


• Monitor and report on network performance and security metrics to senior leadership.


• Communicate security strategies and updates effectively across stakeholders.


• Manage the network security budget in alignment with business and IT objectives.


• Serve as a strategic advisor to the Group IT and Information Security VP.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.


• 6–10 years of experience in network security management, ideally within fintech, banking, or large enterprise environments.


• Strong English communication skills (spoken and written).


• Hands-on experience with:


• 
  Firewalls: Fortinet, Palo Alto, Forcepoint


• 
  WAF & DDoS: Cloudflare, Arbor, AWS WAF, F5


• 
  NAC: Cisco ISE, FortiNAC, Aruba ClearPass


• 
  Switches/Routers: Cisco, Fortinet, or equivalents


• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.


• Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to present insights to senior stakeholders.


• Proactive, delivery-focused mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.


• Demonstrated success in managing complex network security projects from inception to completion.
