Job Title: Network Security Consultant L3

Work Arrangement: Onsite (5 days in a week)

Location: Dearborn, Michigan

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced Network Security Consultant / Network Security Engineer to design, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise network security solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in firewalls, VPNs, secure access technologies, network security, proxy solutions, cloud security, and incident management while supporting large enterprise environments.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide L3 support and serve as the SME for enterprise network security technologies.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, proxy solutions, and cloud security platforms.
• Handle critical production incidents (P1/P2), perform RCA, and support problem management.
• Execute changes following ITIL processes.
• Administer Cisco WSA including URL filtering, HTTPS inspection, malware protection, and security policy management.
• Perform firmware upgrades, software patches, and regular maintenance activities.
• Analyze logs, packet captures, and security events to resolve complex issues.
• Work closely with SOC, TAC, infrastructure, and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and configuration standards.
• Participate in client meetings and technical discussions.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience with enterprise network security environments.
• Certifications such as CCNP Security, PCNSE, or Zscaler are preferred.
• Experience with Cisco ESA or Email Security is a plus.
• Exposure to automation and operational optimization initiatives is desirable
