BWC is looking for a Network Engineer for its client in Brussels, Belgium. It's a full-time permanent contract with BWC. Freelance can also apply.

Job Type: Hybrid :- 50% Onsite +50% Teleworking in Belgium.

Roles & Requirements:

• Language: Fluent in Dutch, French, and English (spoken and written).
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, ICT, Telecommunications, or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience: Strong conceptual, practical, and operational knowledge of IP Networks in multi-site environments and data centres.
• Extensive experience designing, implementing, and administering F5 BIG-IP solutions in complex enterprise environments.
• Expertise in Application Load Balancing and High Availability (HA) architecture and design.
• Hands-on experience configuring Virtual Servers, Pools, Nodes, Monitors, iRules, SSL Profiles, and Traffic Policies.
• Experience with SSL/TLS Certificate Management, SSL Offloading, encryption configuration, traffic inspection, and reporting.
• Experience deploying and managing F5 Advanced Web Application Firewall (AWAF) policies.
• Knowledge of F5 Access Policy Manager (APM) and enterprise authentication/access management integration.
• Experience with Performance Tuning, Capacity Planning, and service optimization.
• Experience supporting Incident, Problem, and Change Management activities.
• Strong experience in Security Patching, software upgrades, and F5 Infrastructure Lifecycle Management.
• Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and troubleshoot application delivery, connectivity, and performance issues.
• Experience creating technical documentation, operational procedures, and conducting knowledge transfer sessions.
• Solid understanding of IT Security concepts, architectures, and implementations.
• Experience working with Checkpoint and Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and assess risks effectively.
• Customer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing operational priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Willingness to continuously learn and expand technical expertise.
