A growing Managed Services Provider is looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join their technical team and take ownership of complex client environments. This is an opportunity to work across modern cloud, infrastructure, and security technologies while becoming a key escalation point within the business.

• Salary package of $120,000 - $150,000 + Super

Due to continued growth, They are now looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join the team and play a key role in supporting and improving client technology environments.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will act as a key technical escalation point, supporting complex environments and delivering infrastructure solutions across multiple client platforms.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing Level 2 and Level 3 technical support across client environments
• Troubleshooting complex server, network, cloud, and security issues
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft-based infrastructure
• Delivering projects across Microsoft 365, Azure, virtualisation, and networking
• Supporting cloud migrations and technology improvements
• Managing security solutions including Microsoft Defender, MFA, and Conditional Access
• Working with firewalls, VPNs, switching, and wireless technologies
• Creating technical documentation and improving internal processes
• Mentoring junior engineers and sharing technical knowledge
• Building strong relationships with clients and providing technical guidance

WE NEED YOU TO HAVE…..

• 5+ years’ experience as a Systems Engineer or Senior Systems Engineer
• Previous experience working within an MSP environment
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms
• Experience supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
• Knowledge of VMware and/or Hyper-V environments
• Strong networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs, and VLANs
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery technologies
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices
• Strong troubleshooting skills and customer communication ability

IT’S NICE TO HAVE…..

• Experience with Fortinet, Cisco, or Aruba technologies
• Exposure to Sentinel or advanced security platforms
• Microsoft certifications
• VMware certifications
• ITIL certification
• Experience automating tasks with PowerShell
